Dianne Marie Mills is a retired educator, author, poet, entrepreneur, caterer, caregiver, an inspirational/motivational speaker and a certified life coach.
She is a lifelong resident of the Titusville community. She attended Center Street Elementary School & Ramsay High School.
She has a BS degree in Elementary Education from Birmingham Southern College and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She has certification in Reading Recovery. She was inducted into the Teachers Honorary Society of Kappa Delta Pi at the University of Alabama in 2001.
She owns The Lady Di Company which is a home based inspirational product and writing business. Its mission is to use her writing to uplift, encourage, inspire and empower others to believe in the power they have within to be all they were created to be.
Ms. Mills feels she was created to inspire the World.
Her poetry has been published in several poetry anthologies and Black Romance Magazine. She is the Birmingham Public Library Poetry Slam Grand Prize winner for 2022.
She is also the author of several poetry and children's books.

Ms. Mills receives a Community Service Award from the NAACP.
